BEHIND THE BRAND

BANAGO, EST 2011

Banago, established in 2011, created by a New York Filipina designer Renee Patron. The origins of the brand stemmed from Patrons childhood upbringing between the Philippines and the US. Patron created the brand in 2011 to expand the artisan livelihood and fashion industry in her native region on the Philippines, Samar. After a twenty year career in the fashion industry, she pioneered and paved the way for new proudly made Philippine brands you see in the market today.

Featured in Vogue, Elle, Lucky, Conde Nast Traveler, and also stocked in retail giants as Le Bon Marche , Merci, Anthropologie, Bloomingdales, Banago has made a name for itself in the fashion industry around the globe by introducing old Philippine craftsmanship and weaving techniques and reinventing them with a modern design twist to fit the lifestyle of the modern woman, at the beach or in the city.

Banago brings the uniqueness of intricate Philippine craftsmanship and design to a new level. In every collection you feel it's heritage and can bring it with you anywhere in the world.
